Studio 22 Interiors is a full service interior design firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. All of our designs are unique and are a reflection of our clients and how they live. The beauty and functionality of our designs lie in the combination of our creativity and our strong attention to detail. Clients are an integral part of the design process and are involved at every step.
Our projects range in size from brief consultations to large scale projects. Each project is different and may include some or all of the following services:
- Design consultations
- Space planning
- Design drawings (both conceptual and detailed design drawings for construction)
- Architectural finish selections
- Furniture and finish selections
- Kitchen and bathroom designs
- Custom millwork & furniture designs
- Color consultations
- Consultations with members of the project team (architects, contractors, etc.)
Studio 22 has worked on projects in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, Florida and Arizona.
about betty fernandes
Betty Fernandes is the founding principal of Studio 22. She is passionate about the power of interior design to create visual harmony, elevate moods and improve the way we live. The goal of every project, whether large or small, is to create meaningful and beautiful spaces that are also functional. Betty draws her inspiration from a mix of places, including the little things in life, natural settings, her travels throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America, and her Portuguese heritage.
Betty is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned her Masters degree in Interior Design from George Washington University (GWU). Later she served as an adjunct professor of interior design for graduate courses at GWU. She is also a licensed interior designer in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia and is NCIDQ certified.
